Initial Bio 11/20/2018: Meet Mr. Lucas! He is the sweetest 6 year old boy ever! Lucas was in a shelter and his time was up. The Shih Tzu rescue they normally reach out to was all full so they decided to try to reach out to United Yorkie Rescue and of course we were happy to step in to help this beautiful little guy. He was severely matted so as soon as we picked him up from the shelter off to the Doggie Hairstylyst Lucas went ! He felt so much better. Lucas rides great in a car and is very laid back and relaxed. He does like to play with toys and gets along well with other dogs. He hasn’t went potty in the house yet and loves to go outside. Lucas is very smart. He went to the Doctor for a checkup and is up to date on all shots and has pearly white teeth so no need for a dental. He does have to be neutered and then he will be ready for his forever home. The vet did notice some inflammation in Lucas’s eyes so he is on a special eye drop for a week. The vet will recheck his eyes when he gets neutered on Monday. Lucas would do well as the only dog or with doggie friends. He really enjoys being with his human and going outside to play. Lucas also enjoys walks. He just wants to be loved and have a family of his own.
