Meet the sweetest young dog! Pax was picked up as a stray back in September in WV and brought to a shelter where he sat for 8 wks because he wasn't a puppy. We knew this cute face deserved to find a loving home, so we had 1 of our fosters get him from the shelter and he has been stay with them before arriving in NJ. Pax is going to be an incredible family dog. He is on just about full grown and on the smaller side at only 35 lbs, but really could use a good 7-8 lbs gain. Now that Pax has arrived in NJ we have gotten a chance to see how this incredibly sweet boy interacts with people. He is a bit hesitant at first to let you touch him & sudden movement tend to startle him (he was most likely beaten). Because of this we feel Pax would do best in a home with children over the age of 10 as well as in a home with at least 1 other dog. He great with other dogs and doesn't seem to really care about cats. He is fully vetted (all shots/chipped/neutered) and housebroken (but please allow for him to adjust to a new environment). Because he was in the shelter so long, he does have crate anxiety & can not be crated. But the good news is, he is not destructive so he doesn't really need to be crated. He will be the absolute perfect dog for any loving family. If you would like to give this handsome boy his furever home, please complete the online application on our website.
