My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

8-month-old Scarlett was found dumped with Rhett 2 months ago and they were in horrific condition and urgently needing medical care to save their life.

Today, they are ready to each find their own homes to call their own, and are almost nearing the end of their healing journey.

Scarlett had Demodex Mange (an itchy skin infection that is caused by mites) but is healing up so beautifully from it and her coat is almost back to being spectacular.

Scarlett has gained almost 15 pounds since being rescued and is sitting at about 30 pounds.

She is a friendly, sweet, kind dog. Good with bathing and nail trims. She is learning to walk on a leash, and she does require some training, as all she's had in her early life is being dumped at the side of a road and in veterinary clinics and boarding facilities.

She has never had a home to call
