My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there my name is Nova-I am a Lab/Heeler mix about 45 lbs, I am a bit on the heavy side and am working on thinning myself slightly. I am about 6 months old and came into A Tail of 4 Paws with my 2 other siblings. "Nova" Hopi for Chases Butterfly, when I first got to animal control I would chase the butterflies. I am such a quiet gentle soul for my age. I love love love to play with my siblings and to get attention from my human people. I will also take my leash and walk myself and if my fur siblings will let me I will walk them too. I am crate trained, almost house trained, and am learning new things daily like sit, wait, my foster mom tells me I am such a smart pup.

I had a rough start to my young life-I was born in the streets of Southern Illinois and lived with my fur mom and siblings. Sadly my fur mom passed away and these nice people spent days trying to catch me and my siblings. From there its been such a great life-learning to be a dog and trusting my humans.

I am now ready to find my forever home, might that be with you?
