My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cassio is back at St. Thomas City Animal Services.

Through no fault of his Cassio was returned to the shelter. He was originally brought in as a stray from a nice person who noticed him starving outside. Once he came into us we realized he was an older fellow who was also front declawed and could not fend for himself in the outdoor world. Cassio is a great man, he is extremely affectionate and sweet. He loves to snuggle, he enjoys a bit of play time and he enjoys food most of all! Cassio loves eating and his favorite is wet food. We give Cassio a fair amount of wet food throughout the day to help him regain the weight he lost after his adventures outside. Cassio does not mind other cats or dogs. He is a bit older but does not show his age at all and will jump up on the chair, window ledge or counters! Cassio is one of our great guys here at the shelter and we very much enjoy his company. During the day we let him out so he can sit on the desk and keep us company. Our volunteers have even dressed him up on occasion to get some cute pictures!! Cassio loves life and loves his people.
