My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nugget is a small, male Chihuahua. Nugget was rescued as a small puppy from a high kill shelter and shortly thereafter was adopted. He was returned, however for being too active for the adopter. When we rescued him as a very young puppy, Nugget was a confident pup. We believe Nugget was mistreated in the previous adopter's care. Nugget can get fearful at first and he has a bit of anxiety, which he did not have before he was adopted the first time. We know he was a bit fearful of the adopter's boyfriend, and wonder if he was a bit harsh with our Nugget. Nugget loves to play and run around. He enjoys the company of other small, energetic dogs. Nugget also gets along with cats. Nugget would be best with children of whom he has gained their trust. He will love the company of another small dog or two. Adoption Donation: $150

All of our animals are fixed, chipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Cats are negative for feline leukemia/fiv.

Many of our pets can be seen at our adoption fairs. Please contact us if there is a specific pet you are interested in, or just come to a fair to meet and greet the many wonderful cats and dogs who will be there.
