Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mariah and her brother Marcel were rescued after being abandoned . We are told there are 3 other litter mates who sadly are still running stray. Mariah and Marcel are doing very well and are the sweetest, most good natured dogs who get along with everyone and everything. They have never had a good home and it appears never allowed indoors. They need someone with patience and understanding to give them time to learn to trust humans and learn how to be a pet. They deserve a home where they will be treated as loving pets and they will love unconditionally in return. At present, Mariah is more scared and shy and dependent on Marcel, but is coming around with TLC and attention. She even sometimes smiles, gets happy and wags her tail. Marcel is more friendly, outgoing and happy. They are very nice dogs who will blossom in their own loving homes. They are looking for love and a second chance. They do not potty in their kennel and are learning how to walk on a leash. They are well mannered and with a little guidance, structure and routine should do fine indoors. Their estimated date of birth is 2/17/15. Mariah appears to be a Boxer/Bassett Hound Mix with a brindle/white smooth coat and weighs 48 pounds. Fifty-pound Marcel has a brown/gray and white shaggy coat and appears to be a Bassett Hound/Terrier or Shih Tzu Mix. They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. Can be adopted together or separately.
