12/5/18 - I've never been poor, only broke. Being poor is a frame of mind. Being broke is only a temporary situation. Hi, my name is Khloe, and my previous owner could not take care of me any longer. When I came to my foster home, I was missing a whole lot of hair. Seems that the fleas and I did not see eye to eye on where they should live, and I lost the battle. I'm on my way to some softer skin and hair now since the nice vet gave me medicine to fix me up. Once my skin is better, I will have my teeth cleaned and get some shots. Boy these people around here sure do believe in keeping up with everything. I'm not complaining though because it seems like the way to go. I don't know how they convinced the fleas to take up residence somewhere else, but I sure appreciate it.
I'm in a foster home with other pups and I am enjoying trying to get a few to play with me. I’m ten years old, but I'm really around 5 at heart. I can run circles around some of these others. I just love meeting new people and have a kiss for everyone I see. My foster mom introduced me to the bed for humans and I absolutely adore it. Who would have thought that big square thing could be so comfortable? I'm a good girl in the potty department, but foster mom does bring us out a lot. I am dog, so don't think that I won't make some mistakes.
I love my fenced in back yard and like running and chasing squirrels and getting my daily recommended dose of vitamin D. I love my people but can go lay down by myself and give my humans a break from time to time. I'm going to need a foster home with another pup or two or three to play with and a mom and dad that think I hung the moon.
There really isn't anything I can think of to tell you about myself that is bad. But then again, I'm a glass is half full type of gal. So, even though I may be broke currently because I don't have a family, I know this is a temporary situation and my fairy tale family will soon apply for me.
