Chaya has been a beloved member of our family since she was about 6 weeks old. Our grand daughter, who is two years old, now lives with us and is extremely allergic to cats. She is suffering to the point where the doctors have said no pets. So Chaya desperately needs a new home. The perfect, ideal match would be an older woman who would like a kitty who has a number of good years left and she would be the only pet. They could really bond that way. Otherwise, Chaya would do fine in any situation where she is an indoor kitty and could be loved and cared for during her remaining years.
Chaya likes indoor kitty, no-grain food. Brand not important. She refuses wet food. The occasional treat or rare bit of catnip is most appreciated! Chaya is laid back and mellow, but she has a nice purr and likes petting. She also likes the very inexpensive cardboard scratching pads, but she would love a kitty condo, too. Chaya does not have accidents as long as kitty litter is available.
