My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are pleased to announce that sweet Willow is now available for adoption and looking for an amazing home to call her own.

Willow is a 2-3 year Black Tri female Australian Shepherd weighing around 40 lbs. She is a pure delight to have around! And considering Miss Willow lived her life on a chain before CARS her beautiful spirit has not been broken.
In fact, Willow was found by Animal Control in Lubbock, Texas and put in the shelter where she was discovered to be pregnant.
With a lot of wonderful volunteers from different rescues working together we were able to get Willow out of the shelter just in time for her to give birth!
All of the same volunteers came together to get Willow and her beautiful puppies to St.Louis, Mo to be in a safe foster home to heal emotionally and physically.

Her gorgeous puppies have all been adopted and Willow has been loving the me time! Willow loves her people and loves other dogs. She is being fostered on a farm, so she has had the opportunity to go follow on horse rides, meet donkeys, mules etc. and she thinks it's so awesome!

Willow also likes other people but she does need a slow introduction, just a little shy at first.

This girl loves to chase squirrels, rabbits and any small prey. So any potential adopter would need to have a six foot fence or live in the country (she can clear a 4 foot fence.) But this would also make Willow an excellent candidate for Barn Hunt actives!

Willow loves to be petted and brushed. Nothing is as sweet as being by her person receiving attention and love! With her calmer demeanor and sweet soul she would also be a great candidate for Therapy Work!

Since Willow has never had a family everything is new to her. She is having a lot of fun observing her foster brothers, such as when they play disc and catch. Ohhh she wants to try so bad! She looks on with amazement and it's darling. It's a good thing Willow is food motivated, for teaching her new commands, tricks will be very helpful.........did you say treat?

Willow is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations on Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper. Willow was Heartworm tested (negative) and Fecal tested (negative). Willow is also Micro-chipped.
Willow takes monthly preventives each month for heartworms and flea/ticks.

Willow is being fostered in the Cuba, Missouri area.
