Hello everyone! It’s me…..Gator (ARPH # 10903), or Gator Mator as I’m known to friends and I’m back! Not that I am too happy about it. I really liked my adopters house and had a great time going to work (aka class) with mom each dog. There were always new dogs coming and going in doggie day care so I had plenty of playmates and I was getting the hang of some of the agility equipment too. Man what fun that was. I do love to jump. But alas, it was not meant to be. See, I’m all boy when it comes to playtime, not aggressive mind you, just like to play rough and well, some of the other dogs owners thought I played too rough and told my new mom they didn’t want me playing with their dogs anymore. Bummer. So I came back to rescue.
I am a handsome red merle boy who likes other dogs, both male and female, and would like my new home to have a playmate for me. Like most aussies, I am very velcro as far as humans go and will follow them anywhere and everywhere. I’m also an escape artist. Best to use the pet carrier style crates with me, those wire ones are no challedge for this red boy. Oh and chain link fence gates……..what a hoot. Took me all of 5 seconds to figure out that my nose can lift that handle as easy as your hand so open it I did and was all prepared to take a stroll around the neighborhood until foster dad caught me. I am the world’s best traveler and have motel experience. I am housebroken and all my vaccines are current until the end of May. I am on Heartguard as part of my heartwrm treatment plan. Yep, that’s right, when rescue found me, I had heartworm disease which required costly treatment.
Small children make too many quick movements and their high pitched voices make my teeth hurt so my foster mom says no kids under the age of 7 for me in my new home. Oh and cats…..well I don’t like them. They annoy me and I just can not resist the urge to chase and when I chase, I want to catch and when I catch, I want to………well, you get the picture. No cats.
