My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Roddy. He is a 1.5-year-old Mastiff/English Bulldog or Cane Corso is our best guess. He is about 90 pounds. He is very very affectionate. He leans in and insists on being touched by people. He pulls on the leash when he sees something interesting. Troy will be working on him doing more of a walk beside leash walk. He was an owner surrender and they said they ‘didn’t have time’ for them. These are big puppies and will make some lucky family great companions. They are eager to learn and want to please. They are motivated by affection or scratches. I am sure a treat wouldn’t hurt or be refused. Roddy came in with Jasmine and they can be adopted together or independently. We are looking for someone who has worked with a large breed dog or who loves the Mastiff breed. He is amazing and despite his appearance is a big teddy bear. He would be good with children and all people. He may be protective of his family as the Mastiff is normally but we haven’t seen that at the rescue. Everyone including strangers are friends and potential people to touch him so they are all good. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or transported to the East or the West Coast via ground transport. Adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185. He is healthy, up on his shots, neutered and ready for his forever home.
