My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SCOTTIE is a very sweet 7 year old sheltie boy. Scottie's DOB is 9/19/11, so he just had a Birthday turning 7. Scottie is around 28 pounds. All of Scottie's vetting has been completed, micro-chipped and he did excellent with her neuter several weeks ago. Scottie is a WONDERFUL LOVING boy and adores his people. He is housetrained, loves to play and is an active boy that needs his daily walks and runs in his fenced in yard. Scottie is fine with other dogs in the home but would prefer to get most of the attention, so he would do well as an only pup in the home. He does have jealousy issues with kitties, so a no kitty home for Scottie is the best. Scottie spent a good bit of time with children in the past, so a home with children over 6 would be just fine for this sweet boy. Scottie is an active boy that will need plenty of play and activity and walks to burn off all his energy and a home with sheltie experience is very much a plus. Scottie will need a SECURE FENCED in yard as he loves to run. NO EXCEPTIONS for the fenced in yard requirement.

We are accepting adoption applications for Scottie and applications can be download from our website at: pasheltierescue.org. HPSR does adopt over the PA State lines pending we can complete a home visit through our SR network here in PA. We do not entertain long distance adoptions. Scottie is being fostered in the Altoona, PA area and the adoption home would need to meet Scottie in his foster home for the adoption. We do not ship or transport our adoption pups to approved homes. Additional information, questions or application requests can be directed through email to: mikelamontshelties@gmail.com
