My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This very sweet loving 3 yr old boy is gentle and playful now, but he came here with a chip on his should and plenty of attitude. He has lived his whole life as a breeder in a puppy mill, alone in a small cage with minimal activity or socialization, and he didn't know how to behave. He has made a total turnaround and now enjoys running and playing with the other dogs and being affectionate with his people. He loves to gently hold your fingers in his mouth and has discovered sleeping in the big bed with everyone else is a good thing.

It is so difficult to get a good closeup of a dark haired dog, but he has the most expressive eyes. It feels like he is looking at your soul when he is holding your hand. Right now his hair is pretty short. I don't know if this is his natural condition or if it is growing out from a haircut, but it looks to me like his face is getting a little fuzzier. His body is more like a Norwich, with a bobbed tail, but his coloring is all Cairn. He is very handsome and could be good with older kids. He might be ok as an only dog if he got lots of attention from his family, but he really enjoys playing with his sister Annie. He is neutered and up to date on his health care. His adoption fee is $450
