Hurley is an energetic, fun-loving dog whom I "inherited" from my son after he went to college about two years ago and his dorm would not allow pets. Unfortunately, with my son out of the house I now live alone and my job is so demanding and my personal life is so hectic that Hurley is left alone every week day during business hours and on many evenings too, and then about half the time he is alone on one or both weekend days too. I spend only an hour or two of time with him on most evenings after work and before going to bed. This is not fair to him. He needs a human companion who can be around him more and devote more time to him, preferably in a home with a big, fenced yard and another dog pal. He is very loyal and would be a great guard dog for you. He has nipped at people in my house a few times in the last two years, but I believe it's because he's bored and lonely. If he were in a different home with more exercise options, I believe that occasional bad behavior would end.
