My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kobe is a super sweet, laid back Akita mix. He is approximately 65 pounds and 3 years old. He loves to chill around the house with his foster parents and gets along with all dogs and cats. He was found wandering around an apartment complex before a construction worker, who kept seeing him loose, started to ask around and found out he had no home. He brought him to our rescue for assistance. Kobe has since been neutered, microchipped, brought up-to-date on shots, and is current on heart worm and flea control. He has quickly become a favorite of everyone in the rescue for his good-natured disposition. The fosters have been working on kennel training so he has a safe spot while they are gone and he is doing great with it! He also is learning basic commands such as Sit, Stay, Down and how to walk nicely on a leash (which he has already mastered). He's an intelligent, loving guy waiting for his forever home! He is currently in Houston, TX but is available for out-of-state adoption through ground or air transport.
