My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sarah is 1.5 years old and 33 lbs. F

Sarah and Hannah were found abandoned on a beach in Jeju island when they were just puppies. The two have a special bond and really relies on each other. We would love to see the two be adopted together if possible.
UPDATE(12/6/2018):Hannah just got adopted in Korea by a family who adopted her son which is worked out great for her.

Sarah is little shy first sight and while she is interested in other dogs, she is not a huge social butterfly. She loves to snuggle, especially at night, and enjoys car rides. Sarah becomes very excited and chases after other animals, so she is not the best fit for families with cats and other small pets.

Sarah is UTD on her shots and is spayed. Her adoption fee is $350.

*Sarah is currently at a foster in Korea. We transport our dogs after an adopter has been secured, so unfortunately, we do not provide meet and greets. Instead, we do our best to provide as much description, pictures and videos as possible.

** We typically do not adopt to homes with children under 8 years old. A home check is mandatory before adoption. We adopt to residents of Northern VA and Washington DC suburbs only. Applicants must be at least 24 years old. **

If you would like to adopt her, please fill out our online application at https://sites.google.com/view/donghaepaws/. An HDP volunteer will reach out for more information after a careful review of your application. Please understand this may take few days. Thank you!

*** About us ***
Hope For Donghae Paws(HDP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to bringing rescue dogs from Korea to the US and finding permanent homes for them. It is true there are many animal lovers in Korea, but still many dogs suffer and are killed for food.
Our mission is to find US homes for mixed-breed dogs whose chances of being adopted in their native Korea are very low.
