My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7-month-old Jessie is just a sweet, super playful girl needing a home to call her own.

She's still very much a puppy, so will need someone willing to take the time to teach her to be a polite dog. She's very smart and will do well with positive reinforcement training.

She loves to be outside to work off that puppy energy, but she also makes the perfect couch snuggler if you want to binge watch your favourite Netflix series.

She had come from an incredibly difficult life to date, and is under medical care from her emaciation, but is otherwise a perfectly healthy girl. She's beautiful now, just wait until she gets to her proper weight.

Oh, and she wins the award for greatest counter surfer in the young pup category!

We have had Jessie around children 10 years of age and older, and she has done terrific with them. We have not tested her with younger children, other than one experience with some kids that crowded and rushed her and she growled at them. We are not discluding her from a family setting, but he children must be dog experienced or with proper and slow introductions.
