Clyde is an 18 month old American foxhound or American foxhound mix who stayed in the Thorndale pound for 4 to 6 weeks unclaimed despite already being neutered and in good shape. Our best guess is that he was a failed hunting dog. His foster mom describes Clyde as a "true Southern gentleman" and "just wonderful,"
and he really is just a happy, easy going guy who wants someone to appreciate his sweet nature. Clyde also is very friendly with other dogs and really would like a companion in his new home.
Clyde has probably lived outside his whole life, and he was a little overwhelmed at the big city PetsMart. However, the moment he discovered the AC, he only wanted to hang out inside the store! He would easily adjust to being a house dog. Clyde is probably not housetrained, but he did fairly well in a crate at PetsMart and refused to mess in his crate, so he would be a quick study. We do not know how Clyde is with cats.
