Luna is a one year old female All American mix who probably has some catahoula in her. She is very sweet and goofy and still has a lot of puppy in her. She needs to have plenty of exercise and chew toys.
When CPP first got Luna she had been injured and dragging her back legs for some time. She had sores on her back feet from walking on the tops of them. However, this little dog had a strong will to live and beat the odds. Our vet prescribed medication and exercise, and Luna now walks, runs, and does very well. Her feet are now completely healed.
She is still a little unsteady on her feet, but she gets better every day. When Luna gets excited or runs, she gets off balance and will fall. However, she takes it in stride, jumps up, and keeps going.
Luna gets along well with other dogs. She has not been introduced to cats, but she probably would be overenthusiastic, not aggressive. Her foster mom has a 4 pound chihuahua that Luna likes to carry around in her mouth until the chi demands to be put down.
