Tookie is a nearly year old toy poodle who was surrendered to CPP when his owner decided that she didn't want to bother with moving him to Houston. He also apparently didn't get much attention in his previous home as Tookie will bark and whine for interaction and only calms when he is being held. He is being trained out of the habit in his foster home, but because Tookie still barks when left alone, he may only go to a house at the moment.

His foster mom reports that Tookie is housetrained, but since he is recently neutered he may still mark inside at first. He gets along with all of the dogs, both large and small, and he is very affectionate with children at PetsMart adoption events.

Tookie simply needs a patient home who will work on calming his anxiety and need for attention and will be committed to being his forever home for the rest of his life.
