My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!  My name is Teddy!  I am a Rottweiler mix with Cadillac black fur with peanut butter accents.   Most folks call the Rottie tan color “rust” but there is nothing rusty under my hood.   I’m a young buck at 9 months old.  I’m a big boy and still growing so be prepared to share quite a large section of your couch and heart with me.  I do have all the good boy skills such as potty trained, kennel trained, good with kids and other dogs.  If you tell me to SIT, I will obey and will do DROP IT at least 98% of the time.  I’m supposed to tell ya the only thing I need some work on is manners around human food but I’m working on it.  I will admit I might be addicted to this game I learned.  You throw the ball, I gallop and get and bring it back, you say DROP IT and pick up the slobbery yellow fuzz ball and repeat.

Teddy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio.  The adoption fee is $150.00.   An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required.  All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites.  If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com.

Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
