My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is the sweetest springer, always ready for a belly rub or just a little scratch under her ears. She loves the outdoors and follows her nose, not especially finding anything specific, just following a scent. She has good manners in the home, asks to be let outside, is patient for her dinner, and sleeps on her bed snoring….

She is alert and knows when there is an unusual noise in the house or a stranger at the door. She hasn’t lived with another dog or visited any dog since she was recuperating from kennel cough and had to stay away from other dogs.

She loves food, isn’t picky, but we’re trying to whittle a couple of pounds off of her. She loves to be with both of us or either one and becomes whiney if one of us or both of us have left the house. She’ll wait by the door, though. She doesn’t like being in a crate even though that is our preferred way to keep her safe while we are gone.

She loves to travel, she’ll look up at any car in the driveway assuming that she is going for a ride. She prefers the front seat, though! We prefer the crate for her so we can drive without any interruptions.

Bella is a senior springer, 11 years old, so she is available for a senior citizen where the fee is waived. She is a wonderful companion, easy to be with and care for, always good for a laugh when she cannot find you in the house, a sweetheart as she is dedicated to her guardians, and a joy to live with, not needing much throughout the day.
