Sadie is a very playful, fun loving, dynamic girl. She wants to be with her humans as much as possible. She is crate trained, but had much rather be laying beside you (or in your lap) rather than alone in the crate. She is potty trained and will go on command when taken out. She also walks well on a leash, will obey sit (on or off leash) reliably . She has been professionally trained and has advanced quickly due to her intense nature and willingness to please. She will hold her 'sit' (in or out of view with distractions) until released. Other commands include release, down, off, come, out and leave it as well as a few hand signals (just starting on those). She is very in tuned with her human and eager to please. She works quickly and effeciently for praise or her tug rope. No treats necessary. She attaches very quickly, so training her is a snap once you win her trust. Sadie would excell in obedience trials or other sports due to her eagerness to please and her athletic drive. She LOVES to run and play with the other rescue dogs (male and female) so she would be ok in multiple dog situations. Sadie is a beautiful golden brown with gorgeous expressive eyes. A.W.O.L. Rescue is located on the outskirts of Dallas Texas. The dogs/puppies were pulled from shelters in surrounding areas that were due to be euthanized had we not taken them in. It is our mission to place all of our ‘rescues’ with sound, loving homes. There will be an adoption application which must be completed and approved before adoptions are final. All of A.W.O.L’s rescues are fully vetted before adoptions. All dogs/puppies will be current on shots, worming and will be spayed/neutered before going to their forever homes.
