Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mr Boots is a happy go lucky boy that could be anywhere from 5 to 8 years old.
He walks well on leash, loves belly rubs and is very affectionate with people. He is currently the Pets Turning Pages shelter dog, going to schools the help kids with their reading.
He enjoys running around and playing in our yards but is not likely going to be a 3 hour hike buddy. Mr Boots would be happy with a few energetic walks, play time and then mellow time lying at hour feet.

We cannot confirm that dogs who come from the shelter will be house trained.
Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills.
Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication that will be needed.
We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals.
*** This is why it is important that we introduce everyone in the home to the new pet. Please plan to have the whole family come visit.
*** We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs spayed or neutered, and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.
*** All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.
*** Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
