My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Saoirse (pronounces Seer-Sha) is the perfect combination of lap cat and independent pet! She enjoys getting pets and relaxing on the couch with you, but loves her time on her cat tree or window sill watching the world outside. She'll faithfully sleep at the foot of your bed each night and then wander to her favorite blanket for a while. She loves to play with kitty toys and adores catnip! Saoirse is tolerant of small children but if warning signs aren't recognized she give a swipe with her paw if she feels trapped or overwhelmed by them. She's formerly an indoor/outdoor cat and prefers indoor life only. She hasn't been really warming up to the male senior cat in the foster home at all. We think she could potentially warm up after a long, careful introduction to another cat. I think her ultimate preference would likely be a solo princess of the home, but could certainly co-exist peacefully if she had enough room in her home to retreat to her own space often. If you are looking for a mellow, but sometimes playful, laid back and absolutely beautifully marked marble tabby cat then Saoirse is your girl :)

Saorise is a big girl, approx 12-13 lbs. The vet estimated her at about 2-3 years old.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and has been up to date on her flea and deworming treatments. Her adopt fee is $100.
