My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

While on a chain in his previous owner's backyard, Red was attacked by two stray adult dogs who came into the yard. The family wasn't home at the time, and Red suffered for several hours near death until his owners found him and rushed him to an emergency vet in Indianapolis. The compassionate doctor who treated Red's injuries contacted us to ask us to sponsor him, since Red's owners were unable to afford Red's huge medical expenses. Miraculously, we were able to raise the money needed to save Red's life, and now he is well and ready for a loving home.
He is a sweet, typical puppy, playful and wiggly. We believe he would do best in a home without other dogs, because of the terrible experience he had. His fear of other adult dogs would be stressful to him. Red is about 1 year old, and will be a medium-sized dog when he's mature. A FENCE WILL BE REQUIRED TO ADOPT RED.
