RYDER IS A COURTESY POST AND IS NOT WITH OUR RESCUE. You will receive an auto reply with questions to answer and we will forward that to the person that is placing him and they will contact you. NOTE: HE WOULD BE HAPPIEST AS THE ONLY PET, HE GETS ALONG W/DOGS/CATS OUTSIDE, BUT INSIDE HE'S TERITORIAL AND WILL BARK AND GROWL.

Ryder is 4 years old, very cuddly, loving and playful. He is an adorable little guy that would make anyone a great companion. He is in a foster home w/other dogs now, but he would be happier if he was the only dog. So this is the type of home we are looking for. He does get protective of his bed, but this is easily solved with a little trick that helps him stop the behavior.
He has a mild disk issue that makes him walk a little different and he has an issue with shiny floors, he's afraid of them, so he needs carpeting to walk on and will not step off the carpet. He currently has access to a yard and goes inside and out via a runner leading to the outside as he can't/wont walk on the stone patio that leads to the lawn. He does love to run around in the yard and grass, so we are looking for a permanent home for him that has this type of set up since we feel that he likes having and will do best in a home with a yard. But he gets around great and is housebroken.
He can go on walks, but not for a long duration and he gets "stuck" by certain objects and needs to be picked up and moved past them. The issue he has w/his inability to walk "normal" is a disk issue and he is not in any pain, but he can't jump up on furniture and can't be allowed on it w/the ability to fall off.
Sweet little Ryder has been through a lot of changes and lived on the streets for years w/a homeless couple so we are looking for a permanent home for him vs a foster home. We are wanting to find a permanent home so he only has to go through one other major change in his life, from where he is now to his forever home.
He is a special little boy and is very easy to care for, he likes to play with is toys, take naps, run around in the yard and go for short walks when he's not cuddling on you lap. Ryder needs a home with someone special to take care of him.
Ryder wants to be your best friend.

Ryder, a West Hollywood Pomeranian/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in West Hollywood, or seeking a Pomeranian/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in West Hollywood.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hollywood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hollywood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pomeranian/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hollywood paves the way for another one to be saved.
