Here's what the humans have to say about me:
POTENTIAL ADOPTION TODAY, 12-15-18. THIS WILL BE UPDATED BY END OF DAY.
Japanese akita mix, unsure of the other breed. Shelter I adopted her from claimed she was a Shiba Inu.
OTHER ANIMALS: She lives in perfect harmony with two indoor/outdoor cats that she's never been aggressive towards, despite them being defensive around her at first.
KIDS: We have two children, a 6 and 4 year old, that have done everything from riding her, laying with her while hugging, etc.
TEMPERMENT: We've played with her ears, taken food from her, taken toys, etc. and have NEVER been shown any form of aggression whatsoever. She very rarely barks/speaks at all.
HEALTH ISSUE: We're fairly certain she has Sebaceous Adenitis, an auto-immune skin disorder that causes hair loss and a "musky odor" if weekly baths aren't kept up with. We have not had the skin biopsy done to confirm, but every aspect of it fits her to a T. Unfortunately, we're gone too much to be able to care for her as much as she deserves.
