Callie is Adopted
Callie is currently being fostered in Canton Ohio and her adoption fee/donation is $325
Callie is an adorable little 2 yr old female havanese.
She came to our rescue along with several other dogs from a puppymill in southern Ohio.
Callie is a super sweet little dog!!
She weighs just under 10 lbs and will not get any bigger.
This girl is a joy to foster, she is loving and affectionate, playful & friendly.
One thing we have noticed about her is that she gets jealous if other dogs try to invade her attention with humans.
If she is on your lap, which is her favorite place, and another dog approaches for interaction, she growls and will snap at them.
We are trying to correct this issue by making her get off of the lap she is on when she acts this way.
Overall she gets along with other dogs, it’s just the jealousy over sharing affection that is a problem.
We are also working with her on house training, being from a puppymill, she needs to learn this skill.
If you are looking for a nice little lap dog that will just steal your heart, then Callie is the girl for you.
This breed requires regular grooming every 8-12 weeks.
Callie is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm tested negative.
