Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Colt, a 5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, came to rescue after his owner fell ill and was no longer able to care for him
Colt has been an only dog most of his life so coming to a multiple dog household was a bit overwhelming for him. He would do best in a household with a non-dominant male or female dog. Colt would also be perfectly content being an only dog.
Colt loves to hunt the yard for lizards or birds so a having space for Colt to explore is a must.
Colt is very well housetrained and is not destructive when left alone. He is altered, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases.
Our adoption process includes an application, home visit and meet/greet with all family members, two and four legged. Contact britrescueaz@cox.net for an adoption application.
Brittany Rescue AZ always provides a two week trial with all dogs to ensure a good match has been made.
