Hello-My name is Dancer. I am a tiny 3 year old Poodle girl that weights in at a tad less than 9 lbs.
**Please know that as long as you are able to see me on the website-I am actively looking for my fur-ever home and am available for adoption.
My family could no longer take care of me and they dumped me at this big noisy place-they call "The Shelter". I was really scared when I first got there. I was there for about a week when the lady from the Rescue saw my picture and came to get me. My coat was dirty and messy. No one probably got me groomed for 3 years. I was so dirty that the Shelter thought I was brown. My Mom had to shave off my tangled hair and underneath all the mess she saw my beautiful white coat. I am so glad she rescued me-getting a hair cut, a bath and good dental cleaning sure makes a huge difference!!!
I am a well-behaved , gentle, sweet, quite,shy girl that does not bark much. I get along with other dogs of same size in my foster homes. I love to lay out in the sun and catch warm rays. I walk really good on the leash and let everybody pet me-men, women, children (I am a non-discriminating gal). I ride in the car like a champ and you won't hear a sound out of me. I am potty trained and always do my business outside. I am also crate trained-I sleep in my crate all night and you will not hear a peep out of me. Although, it would be my dream come true would be to sleep with my human. I am quite a cuddle bug and love being held.
I have had all my shots, am spayed and am even micro-chipped. I am all set and ready to find my own family. So-what are you waiting for?. I am on the shy and insecure side and will need a bit of coxing to come around. All I want is to be loved and love you back with all my heart. Please make sure you have a lot of time when you come to meet me.
