Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST
CHANCE male Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier Mix est dob 09/2016-knows lots of commands & dog/cat friendly
Chance is a happy active outgoing guy that is great with kids, dogs, cats, woman and men. He seems to really bond with men. He loves to play with toys. going on walks and car rides. He will play fetch but often he would rather not release the ball. He knows sit, shake with both paws; "other one" (to get him to switch paws), down, stay, roll over, heel (we say "side") leash trained. Chankce is a great snuggle partner and loves to sit in your lap. He is house and crate trained. Chance is being fostered with 2 chihuahuas, a heeler mix & a cat. A good match is an active family who enjoys walks. As far as kids go, he would due best with older children he cannot knock down. Chance's new family needs to have a good deal of dog experience. He would not be a good match soneone's 1st dog.
RESCUE STORY - Chance was found alone on the side of a road as a young puppy. He was in bad shape and taken to the vet immediately where he was diagnosed with upper respiratory infection. Chance got all fixed up and while he waited to be adopted, he grew up in a doggy daycare. He was then adopted, abandoned again, thrown over the Fort Worth Animal Shelter fence in terrible shape and appeared to have been abused. His injuries have healed and he is now available for adoption via CLASP.
If you have questions please email his foster mom Alex alexrescue022@gmail.com
ADOPTION FEE $150 Chance is neutered, current on shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea prevention and microchipped.
