Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pru is a great companion and he loves other dogs. He has eyes for a single person but will enjoy others in the family too. He loves to play chase with other dogs and he walks very nicely on a leash. Pru is tired of being a foster dog and wants a home of his own!
Pru takes treats gently from my hand but he is even more motivated by affection. He loves to be petted and he loves to sleep next to my bed. He will become sad to see me leave and will retreat into the far corner of the yard and wait for my return. He will sleep outside the house if I am away for the night. He becomes very attached to a special person. He enjoys the company of someone either a dog or his special person.
Pru was in a no kill shelter in SC. He had been there for 6 months. He was picked up as a stray before that. He hid from e when I walked by his cage and the shelter staff said he would never be adopted because he was too timid. He had a large sore on his leg from licking due to nerves. This is all healed now
