Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Major Scout Patterson has been with us since 2012. We adopted him from a shelter in Hattiesburg, MS when he was 9 weeks old. We got him before we started having children. He lived strictly indoors with us for approximately a year. Then, we moved him outdoors once our daughter was born. He is 6 years old now, and full of energy! Scout loves to play in our backyard and go for walks. He loves to interact with others (he never seems to meet a stranger)! Scout is very affectionate and loving. He has been a wonderful, irreplaceable part of family.
We regret having to give him up, but we know that it is best for him and the rest of our family. Our children are small and have severe allergies. They are allergic to Scout's pet dander. They love to watch him play outside, and he loves to watch them playing inside. It is such a shame that due to their allergies and small size compared to Scout that they can't play together.
Scout is deserving of a great family since he is a great pet!
