Seaweed is currently located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Seaweed is an adorable scruffy boy that was saved from a fast kill animal control facility. We think he is an Affenpinscher mix (i.e. a terrier) with black wiry hair. We estimate he is around a year of age and he weighs 12 pounds. Seaweed is very sweet and loving, yet active and fearless like most little terriers. He loves cuddling and gives lots of kisses. He likes exploring the backyard, playing with other dogs, toys and treats. Seaweed is crate trained and we think he is house trained. He is fairly well behaved in the house but he is still young and could use more obedience training and socialization. Seaweed is a small dog. He must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider him dinner. Seaweed must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Seaweed is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has been started on heartworm and flea preventative. Seaweed has a $500.00 adoption fee that includes ground transport to Warren NJ, Allentown PA, or Nanuet NY..
