I am a very cute, little, Chihuahua mix boy, I was born October 25th, 2018. I am a sweet, very happy, playful puppy and like foster mom says a cuddlebug and an investigating puppy, open minded and never to tired to play..
I was rescued with my mom from Lancaster Animal Shelter where I was born, I had siblings but they unfortunately did not survive when my Mama's family dumped her at the shelter while in labor. But I am a happy growing loving fluffy little boy... I look NOTHING like my Mama, I am almost as big as she is already. She is a beautiful petite little black smooth coated chihuahua... so not sure who my baby daddy is, but rescue mom is thinking she sees some Shihtzu or King Charles Cavalier in my face. A DNA test by my new family will tell the tale.
I have had 2 puppy shots and will have 2 more of puppy vaccinations soon to complete the series. I have been dewormed and we already visited a really nice veterinarian who said I am super healthy. I will be ready for my new home and humans can meet me the 2nd week in the New Year 2019. And, if you dont already have another dog, I am also available for adoption with my beautiful tiny mama BIANCA or surrogate sister BeBe.
Our rescuer does have a ‘PUPPY POLICY’. For the benefit of us little ones, our rescue requires that there be an existing doggie, a dog and people friendly dog in YOUR home, or consider adoption of a second dog, either thru this rescue or another. The purpose of this is to raise us in the best possible environment for our growing period and teach proper dog and human socialization skills, help us learn potty training, keeps us busy, and for us to be bonded with another pooch instead of bonded to our humans. We learn to be dog social as well as people social and not to guard our humans later in life, it helps us to become well rounded adult doggies. If you do not have another dog, you can consider another dog from RLDR. If you do not have another dog, your application will be denied. Dogs are pack animals by nature, dogs should never live alone! Every dog needs a buddy, especially if being left home all by ourselves…. Good Behaviors are learned in puppyhood!
Our rescue is accepting qualified applications at this time. Please submit video or photos of your dog, the perimeter fencing and gates on your property with your application.
