My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Where do we start with Kevin?! He is a 99% perfect compact nugget! This fit little guy is about 2 years old and weighs around 35 lbs. He is house trained, crate trained, and has impeccable manners in the house. He is affectionate, and loves nothing more than to hop up on the couch for snuggles. While he does have a healthy activity level, he is calm and mellow in a home. He would do great with a family who needs a running or hiking buddy! His athleticism would also be perfect for agility work! Kevin is a very smart boy who would benefit from both mental and physical stimulation, therefore we are asking whoever is lucky enough to adopt him to commit to obedience training. Kevin is in foster with two female dogs, and he loves to play! And I know, you’re wondering what is that 1% of non-perfection? Kevin often is wary of meeting new people. He is a dog who requires very slow introductions when meeting a human for the first time, and, while he does eventually warm-up, it does take him some time to be comfortable with new people. Because of this, we are looking for a low-traffic home (few to no frequent visitors) without any kiddos. Kevin feels overwhelmed with large groups of people, but once he knows you, he loves you! Patience and time is all it takes. If you think Kevin might fit your lifestyle and you’d love to have a low maintenance life-partner, Kevin is it! Apply at cprdogs.com to bring sweet Kevin home.

Georges Hill Rd in Southbury, from 10am-1pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
