If you're familiar with the terrier personality, you won't be surprised that Betty is a little bit full of herself -- humility is not her best suit!! And you won't be surprised when she runs around with all her other doggie friends just to prove she's the fastest and the most agile. And you'll completely understand when she sits still for some affection just long enough until she's ready to go explore something new. Betty is a curious, friendly, confident girl who probably thinks she's smarter than most dogs (she may be right!!). She's super social, doesn't meet a stranger and seems to like everyone of all ages. She loves other animals but at 2 years old she can be too playful for older or many more laid back dogs. She wants to be the one in your lap and has no problem squishing anyone else out if they happen to be there first. Betty is very happy to entertain herself - - especially if the toys are squeakies - - and she plays fetch very well. She LOVES to run and has learned which shoes are the ones for running and gets very excited when she sees them go on. (In fact, her foster mom runs with her 3 - 5 miles/day which is the only thing that seems to keep her energy in check!)
We think Betty is about 2 years old, she weighs about 20 pounds and she's a very healthy girl. We have no idea what her true mix is, but she's got the terrier cleverness to make her a great companion who will keep you entertained and possibly aggravated!
