My sweet Preston is my PTSD/mobility service animal, but he had a traumatic past. He was rescued at about 1 yr old from a puppy mill where he was being used as a breeder. My trainer worked diligently with him for about 15 months before she brought him to me. He has been my constant companion over the last 3 years and lives for love from his humans. Since acquiring him, I have divorced and my financial situation has become precarious, meaning I must work-a lot. Because of this, my precious boy is very anxious. He has multiple food allergies, which include poultry and gluten. He currently eats Wilderness or Merrill low-ingredient Salmon & Potato. Because of his past, he is very food motivated and isn’t particularly good at “dogging,” so he would do best with someone who is home a lot and can give him the love and time he craves and deserves. He is a very good boy and very smart and so so loving. Giving him up breaks my heart but I know he can find a home better suited to him.
