My story

Meet Christopher!

He is a 4-5 year old lab mix weighing approximately 40 lbs. Because of the brindle coloring, I'm thinking he may have some plott hound or greyhound in him.

Christopher is a high energy boy who needs lots of love. He loves people and would enjoy long walks/runs and would probably make a great hiking companion. He would do best with an active family and as the only dog. He does not get along with other dogs and is not good with cats. He is also a digger and will dig under a fence if not supervised.

Christopher is in a small shelter in Lytle, TX and can be adopted locally or transported to your area once adopted. His adoption fee is $200 and transport is $185. If you are interested in adopting Christopher, please call Lytle Animal Care and Control at 830-709-3832.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

You will need to complete the application. We will call your references and vet so please let them know. We will do an interview and then let you know all about the dog to make sure the personality is a great fit. Once we all agree we arrange the transport and welcome you to the Lytle Family.

Go meet their pets

We will ship our dogs if they are pre-adopted. We have lots of pictures and videos to help you and many dogs are in foster care or will be once they are adopted so we can tell you all about the fine details of their personality.

More about this rescue

We are a rural Facility in a rural town named Lytle Texas. We had issues of overcrowding in the beginning and we had to euthanize for space. Thank you Northern, PNW and East Coast adopters. We LOVE the homes our dogs have gotten because of Adoptapet.
