My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous little chiweenie is Thelma. She can be a little shy at first but once she gets to know you, she is a total love bug! She is about 2 years old and weighs around 12 pounds now. Her owner sadly passed away and she was sent to a local animal control. She was really scared at the shelter and we were asked to take her into our program. Since being at her foster home, she has come out of her shell quite a bit. She is still a little timid with new people and things, but if you give her a little time, she is as sweet as she can be. She is doing great with her house training and is crate trained too. She loves to run around in a fenced yard and patrol for squirrels. She does great on a leash too. She loves to curl up on the couch with her person and take nice long naps. If you think Thelma may be the right fit for you, send us an email soon!
**All Compassion in Action dogs must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed inside—especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a “tie-out” or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced yard.
