My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Recently arrived from Houston to Rhode Island, Marigold is a beautiful older puppy, soft and gentle. She sports quite an unusual mocha coat color, is racy and athletic in build and should remain a medium in size. She is very social, but also very inexperienced and can be a little timid on first greets. Once she settles in, she is a lover to all and has done well with kids! She is also quite dog social and does well with her canine friends. Marigold is coming along very nicely with her housebreaking, and crates well. She is an active puppy who belongs with those who can mesh well with a higher energy level, and also will be best suited to patient and quieter families as she can be sensitive. She is undersocialized and does not yet quite know the rules when it comes to initiating contact and affection, often leaping at you to gain your attention or show her excitement. She will thrive with structure and boundaries, but is behind the bar right now so probably not well suited as a first time pet, but with guidance will be a lovely pet due to her gentleness and sociability :) Applications are available on the southpawsexpress.org website or via contacting Lucy at maramuser@gmail.com.
