Meet Mimi!
She was rescued from the streets of El Sereno after her mom was taken by a coyote. A fellow trapper went out to pull her from the streets for a foster who stepped up. Fortunately for Mimi, she was saved from the streets and went right into a warm, loving foster home. She was sick with URI (as most street cats are having to battle the elements) and she went straight to the vet for antibiotics. Her immune system strengthened and she has not wasted any time playing catch up!
She is a dilute tortoiseshell (Adopt a Pet only has Calico listed) which makes her unique. She has a peach blaze that runs down her face and she has dashes of color all over her mostly gray/blue body. She loves to play and is full of tortitude! She loves her scratch post and her toys but mostly she loves to run and scamper after ping pong balls and wine corks. She gets along great with other cats and she is super silly. We'd love to see her in a wonderful home either as a single cat or with a cat family.
Mimi loves to be with people and will follow you everywhere. She will lay on your feet and be up at your level to see what you are working on. She is endless entertainment and she loves to sleep curled up in your sheets at night or hanging in a hammock.
Likes: Ping pong balls, jingle bell toys, rope sisal scratch posts, eating and taking naps in your lap once she's done playing
Dislikes: Dogs (she's not used to them after the coyotes) - but we believe she is young enough to re-acclimate to having a doggie sibling! In fact, we think she will bond with dogs, be best friends with a little time and will be sleeping together in no time.
