This lovable goof is looking for his forever home!
True to his name, Dumbo is a bit of a goofy boy. He’s still young so still has a lot to learn but he will make you laugh out loud at his funny antics. He loves to play with his stuffies and giant ball and enjoys a frozen kong which helps to keep him occupied when you are at work or when you want to relax in the evenings.
Due to his age, Dumbo does still need to work on a few of his manners to learn how to be respectful inside the house but he is fully house trained and is able to be left alone for a full working day if needs be. Dumbo is also crate trained but will whine if he hasn’t had enough exercise or if he gets bored – chew toys help!
Dumbo can be reactive to other dogs initially but with slow introductions, Dumbo has shown he can live with another dog with boundaries. His leash skills are a work in progress as he does still react to other dogs on leash. He will require more training here as Dumbo is very big and strong so could easily take you for a walk instead! However, Dumbo is very responsive and more than willing to learn for a treat or two.
Dumbo’s perfect home would be one with a firm but patient owner with enough time to provide him with the structure and stimulation that he needs. His home should be an active one with no cats and no small children.

Children: No young children please – I’m very big and strong but haven’t realized this yet! I’ll likely knock little ones over.
