Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but Illinois adoptions will be considered. will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Hi, I'm Axel! I'm a cute little terrier mix and my coloring looks like a JRT. I am full of life and love! I traveled to Wisconsin on January 13 and am living in a foster home in Cambridge with two small dogs and two kids. I was born 10-23-18! My foster mom has been bragging about me and how well I’m doing on potty training even in this chilly Wisconsin winter! I’m looking for a family that has a schedule to accommodate my puppy needs of socializing, exercising, and potty breaks. I’m also eager to learn fun tricks and other fun games at puppy school. If you think the look on my cute face makes me seem inquisitive or silly you’d be correct. The gears are in constant motion in my little head. I’m respectful of the older pups that I’m fosered with and when they tell me to mind my own business I listen and when they have the energy to wrestle I’m game to join. If you are looking for a silly, smart, and happy pup then maybe I’m the one for you.
