Hey there I'm Quinn! I'm a two year old sweet girl with the largest heart in Memphis. I was brought into the shelter with a whole litter of puppies. Like a good momma, I took care of them all, and then sadly watched them all leave one by one. Thankfully one day a few girls from ALIVE Rescue Memphis came to the shelter and they left with me that day! It certainly didn't hurt that I was a shelter favorite and the staff had a lot of nice things to say about me and they were right. I'm super friendly when people come over to visit me. I literally wag my tail so hard my entire body shakes. I'm also great with animals as well. My foster home consists of a super playful dog and we love romping around in the backyard. There are also three resident cats that live here, and I'm very gentle and sweet with them all. I do great in my kennel when my mom goes to work, as long as I have a delicious kong or toy to keep me occupied. Car rides are no problem for me. I love taking rides in the car and I sit politely and wait for us to get to whatever cool place we are heading to. Those puppies were sweet but they were a mess! You won't have to worry about any accidents or destruction with me. I'm a very mature pup for my age. I'm just sitting at my foster home waiting for someone to take me home for Netflix/pizza marathons, and weekend adventures. I hope to find those special people soon.
All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted.
In order to qualify for ALIVE’s program all of the following steps must be met: • You must be at least 24 years of age and be able to provide ALIVE with proof of age. • Any current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, and be spayed/neutered. Exceptions to this will only be considered if proof of a medical explanation is provided. • If you currently rent, you must provide a landlord’s phone number and a copy of your executed lease. • All members of the family living in the home where the animal will be placed must be interviewed. • Allow an ALIVE Rescue Memphis representative into your home for a visit to insure that your home is safe for the potential new dog or cat. • Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet.
Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog from ALIVE Rescue Memphis in the Memphis area over 4 months of age is $275.00, a dog under 4 months of age is $300.00 and a cat is $150.00.
Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog from ALIVE Rescue Memphis to the Nashville area is $325.00. The $325.00 adoption fee includes transport to the Nashville area.
Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog from ALIVE Rescue Memphis to the Chicago area is $475.00. The $475.00 adoption fee includes transport to the Chicago area.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you submit an application immediately to start the adoption process. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, ALIVE Rescue Memphis is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
