My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penny was adopted as a youngster...about a year old. Recently returned because the family could no longer keep her. She is a small beagle....weighing just over the small dog category weight. She is housebroken and crate trained. She walks well on leash and will sit when asked. She enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Penny is calm and mellow. Does not require a lot of exercise or activity. She gets along well with other dogs and is ok with cats. Does not really interact with either one.....appears to prefer the company of people. She can be a bit timid with people she doesn't know but is fine when she realizes you mean her no harm. Small children make her a little anxious. She would do best in a quiet home with adults or older children. If small grandchildren come to visit, she is happy to stay in her crate. She's a cuddle bug and loves to sit with you while you read or watch TV. She would be a wonderful companion. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy.
