My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Nessie has had a difficult life up to the point of her adoption by us. She was found abandoned at a house and then put into a high kill shelter at only a few months of life. She was saved by a rescue and we adopted her. She isn’t being rehomed because anything she’s done but because we feel we still can’t give her the best quality of life she deserves. She seems like a lazy girl but take her to the dog park or a lake (her own person heaven) she has all kinds of energy for swimming and chasing a frisbee. She is so easy to train because she is treat motivated, though she isn’t a fan of peas or carrots! She is the best cuddler and a funny sleeper as you can see in her pictures. Overall you can tell all she wants is love. She is a bit reserved and wary of specific new people due to her background (we assume she was abused) so she needs someone willing to give her the chance to warm up to people. She loves to play as much as she loves to sleep so she also needs someone with a yard!
