My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome young man is around 6 months old and weighs about 40 lbs. Bear is such a friendly and outgoing pup and is so very sweet as well. He loves playing with toys and enjoying time outside on nice sunny days! Bear is a great cuddler and enjoys spending time on the couch kickin back with some yummy treats. He is such a wonderful pup that is going to make an amazing family companion!

This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! CPR will be at Petland in Southbury on Friday, January 25th from 2pm - 6pm. On Saturday, January 26th from 10am - 2pm, CPR will be at PetSmart in Meriden. Lastly on Sunday, January 27th CPR will be hosting an open house from 10am - 1pm at the adoption center located at 522 N. Georges Hill Rd in Southbury. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee.

If you are an MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
